NRHA/HCI Study The annual Cost of Doing Business Study from the National Retail Hardware Association provides detailed financial results from over 800 participating hardware stores, home centers and lumber/building materials retailers. The 2007 study provides comparative information on Sales Per Employee and Inventory Turnover as well as more traditional measures such as Gross Margin, Operating Expenses and Accounts Receivable Collections. We have posted select portions of the NRHA CODB Study here on the web site. The entire 2007 Study is available from the Association office.

Cost of Doing Business Study The Cost of Doing Business Study, published annually by the Pacific NW Association is one of the industry's most valuable publications.

The study assesses the financial performance of equipment retailers who submitted confidential financial reports for the year to the Association. The Study presents composite income statements and balance sheets in addition to averages for key financial performance ratios.

Financial Statements were received from participating dealers located in these Association territories: Canada West, Canada East, Deep South, Iowa-Nebraska, Mid-America, Midwest, Ohio-Michigan, Pacific Northwest, SouthEastern, and SouthWestern Association.
